teddy bear

i used to be called teddy bear,
and i think now i know why,
throw me against the wall,
or in a box under the bed,
but when you need a friend,
i'll be there till the end.
when i hear the sound of sadness,
i'll jump up and stop the madness,
or when that first tear drops,
i'll climb on the bed,
and try to make it stop.
i'll be a shoulder,
even when were older,
you can tell me anything,
and it will take the pain away.
When all your tears are done,
and your emotions are undercontrol,
just promise you'll give me a hug,
and tuck me back nice and snug.
