Graduation
Graduation
The time is here,
We are finally done!
I look back and see how far we have come.
I remember the times when we were oh so small,
Not a single care in the world,
Not one at all.
As each one of us walk across the stage,
As we embrace the freedom from that cage,
We see all the memories we have had,
All of them,
Happy, angry, mad or sad,
Last year I watched the show,
But now it’s my turn to walk out and go,
Don’t walk too fast or too slow!
I reach out and shake the hand,
and then comes the feeling only graduates understand.
Diplomas in hand,
we let out a roar,
Throw our hats in the air and rush out the door.
