every breath you take
brings you closer to the grave
tomorrow a day will be lost from the future
and added to the past
a past that can’t be changed
the past and the future are joined
by only the moment that is present
the present eats the future
the present creates the past
make the present what you wish
make the past what you wish
for the present is the future’s past
when the past is what you wish
your last breath contains no regret
