Mirrors
A girl was locked up into a room
And that room was filled with mirrors.
She looked all around to admire herself,
But then realized she couldn’t see her.
For these weren’t just any regular mirrors,
They reflected what is on the inside.
Like tattoos, her true traits stuck to her,
Showing all the regular mirrors had lied.
Her outer beauty was just an illusion
To the eyes of all who could see
But these mirrors weren’t fooled by this trick and revealed her real self:
A horrible monster that’s conceited and ugly
She couldn’t believe what she was seeing,
But after much thought, she finally realized something so true:
Never trust what is seen in mirrors,
Because mirrors don’t show the real you.
