Narcissus
The son of a river god and a nymph,
The most beautiful and desirable creature,
Whose appearance overshadows other mortals,
Whose vanity blinded his heart,
Who’s deceived by his own beauty.
Beauty as deadly as a dagger,
Thrust through his lover – his own reflection.
From his pool of blood,
A new flower burst out,
With white petals and a clear red centre,
Narcissus danced in the light wind,
Trapped forever by the pool water.
The beauty of hatred and jealousy,
Buried the red, bumping hearts,
Where we lost our nature,
Where we are blinded by the delight of destruction,
Where we are trapped forever by the pool of evilness.
