Hearts are broken

Hearts will be broken, others mended
But mostly broken, some offended
For hearts are as delicate as glass, and only take a slight poke to crumble
So be aware
treat her heart with care
and may you never fumble
Love can be as sweet as honey
and sometimes as sharp as a knife
Do not depend on a persons love, for it is not always blithe
People can rip your heart out with their bare hands
and torment you with their audacity
But always know
You can never show
how devastated your are inside
