Memory

look back upon the faded past
through black and white and dusty specs
cracks and wilted webs
echoes and cryptic flashes
juxtaposed with color and light

is yesterday that far away?

change is not subjective
its a chiseled, smooth slab
that never wears with windy times

today is much like long ago.
