He says he’s in “love”
I’m sure he is
puppy love runs deep
as deep as the skin

silly boy, when will he learn
everybody loves her
she was made to be loved
she was raised to be loved

he feel victim to her traps
her flawless skin
her perfect hair
his fight was never fair

The author's comments:
My inspiration for this poem was the subplot in Dead Poets Society in which Knox Overstreet falls head over heels for Chris Noel. Little does Knox know that he is only one of many (some much stronger than he) that have fallen under Chris’s spell. The tone of this poem is warning and the theme is that you must be careful not to fall into the trap of physical attraction and mistake it for love.
