Do you know me?
If we could read each other’s minds
And already knew the thoughts that lay there
Before they were told
There would be no purpose for questions,
Discoveries, or mysteries.
Life would hold nothing
But things we already know
So why would be want to live it?
If everyone already understood
“Why she said that”
“Or he did this”
talking to each other
would be pointless.
Take a chance;
Really live.
Ask questions,
Discover what makes people tick,
Solve mysteries
And be content in never understanding it all.
