“Remember The Little Things”
This year has gone by,
faster than the switch of a light.
It feels like minutes ago
I was standing in front of the lounge
no longer in the eighth grade,
but an immature ninth grader.
Here I am
on the verge of graduating.
And it just dawned on me,
that soon all of this
will be over.
No more Summit sports
where we were all winners.
No more Summit teachers,
that journeyed to the end and back with us.
I know
that all good things must come
to an end,
but it was not until the end,
that I realized how meaningful
Summit was.
I knew this was my last year,
and I wish I could do it all over.
Although things will never be the same.
I wilnot forget the class of 11,
the most memorable of them all.
