My Almost Loving Fairweather Friend
I thought we were friends
What happened over the weekend?
What's your problem
I had hoped you were nicer
I tried to be friendly
You didn't pursue
And when you did
You weren't consistent
Or persistent
I gave you hints
I know you had heard the gossip
But why has nothing happened?
One day you stick to my side
I loved it
It made my day
In one weekend we go from close friends to not on speaking terms
Did I do something wrong?
I remember I did laugh and giggle when you sat next to me
But I was not laughing at you
What can you expect from a girl who likes you?
That still doesn't' mean you have to ignore me
I ignore you
That is how it works
