You ripped
my heart out,
feeding it
to the birds:
and deep
within my soul
came a place
with only words,
unheard,
ever in my life before.
it was like an opening,
The key
to another door.
and through this door
was another world:
somewhere I belong,
no evil souls,
no devilish girls,
no wrongs
no past to un-whirl.
just this silver sand,
and these bright stars
no holding hands
or breaking hearts.
I no longer
have to worry
about people
or problems concerning
no fixed economy,
no global warming,
I no longer
have to worry
about worldly
children
starving,
'Cause when I close my eyes
I'm alone,
only known
as the heartless martian.
