The summer sent suffocates me

The sun burns my back in the most peaceful way

The trees whisper a silent song

As I lay on my back in the tickling grass

The thought of you finally leaves my head

As I slowly drift in a solemnly sleep

The butterflies cover my body covering me in color

My breath leaves my body mixing with the hot air

As the water covers my feet with cool blue liquid

The only place I can relax

Clear my head

California

this does speak california, it's a very relaxing poem.  Only one problem: scent, not sent
