Those Eyes

May 28, 2011

He met me outside
He kissed closed mouth
Only to be let inside

It was just once
Now I’m forced to face reality
Forced to be judged by the world
They wouldn’t know my story
They would only see a statistic

I can’t take those disapproving eyes
The eyes of disappointment, shame
The eyes of my father
The eyes of my mother
Staring at what I’ve done
What I let him do

So I lay here
On this table stained by women
Women who feared just as me
Hoping that one quick scream
One quick death
Will take these eyes of me
