I've been through hard times
I just started learning how to fly
I want to get better
But my vision keeps getting wetter
I can't do it on my own
But when I think of asking for help I moan

As the years go by and by
My life has taken so many twists and turns
You'd think I'd have learned 
I need to find my voice
What is the right choice?

I won't eat my words
Or send my dream flying with the birds
I will fulfill my dream
I will burst through the seam

It hasn't been easy
And thinking about it makes me queasy
Why can't I find my way?
Maybe I'll be perfect one day
