Epiphany
Sometimes I look at everyone around me and just absorb.
People who are black, white, happy, sad, male or female.
Everyone is beautiful. I do not care about what perfect means. To me, everyone is perfect, and amazing.
The idea of them being alive, of them once being a child like me and their experiences and heart and soul. It's all so great.
I look at all these beautiful beings, and I understand. I understand who they are, and how I'm just another part of their life and they're just another part of mine.
But I look at them, and at the same time, I do not understand. I do not understand how a person could be cruel. I do not understand how someone can judge another.
I do not understand how you can hurt yourself, or people around you.
I do not understand racism and sexism. I do not understand prejudice.
After all, we're all the same. Aren't we?
We're all beautiful amazing beings who walk this earth for a reason, whether you believe in it or not.
But maybe I just feel that way because I am simply a child.
