motherly love
when you see a dove you think of peace
I think of love
Not just love I think of my mother too
She passed away when I was about two
My dad would tell me that she would always buy me toys
And that almost everyday I would be full of joy
My brother tells me just think and remember
How she used to be, how much she loved us
And what we meant to her
How every night she would drink coffee liquor
And tucked us in bed
Tell us bed night story and kiss us goodnight
No matter where she’s at
Just think of her heart
Remember her beat and how nice it will be
Remember her smell
And the way she would dress
Just think of her in all your dreams.
