The Way It Makes Me Feel

It makes me feel like I’m on top of the world.
I feel the anger and sadness poor out of me.
As I listen, I anticipate my irritation will unfurl.
It makes me feel like I could see miles and miles over the sea.
It sounds like the wind blowing through a tree.
It’s even like the sound of the ocean.
I can even smell the ocean as it passes me.
It brings out all my emotions.
It sounds like the rain falling from the sky.
For this, you can get lots of awards.
Sometimes it makes me want to cry,
And I love to hear it come from my vocal chords.
