Always My Dream
Giving up, it just seems right
I see you deep into the night
In my dreams, you’ll always be
You’re never a reality
You have this wall that I can’t break
Trying still is my only fate
Stuck on you, yea I know it’s wrong
But without I feel like I can’t go on
You’re there when I close my eyes
I know I need you or I wouldn’t try
I’d love you right, if you would let me
But I think I’m as close as I’ll ever be
Calling you mine that would be a dream
Guess I’ll just have to wait and see
I know there’s no changing your mind
Love is never really that kind
You have this way of taking me high
Above this place, where I could fly
Away from all the pain I have
You should know I’m grateful for that
Without you, doesn’t even sound right
You’re all I need in my life
To make me smile, make me shine
I know this is only a dream of mine
But yet, I’ll wait around another day
Just to see what you throw my way
