Broken Dreams
The big white house sits perfectly aside the road smiling
The white picket fence, big pond and fountain in front just add to the pain pulsating through me
Your name is written all over that house, our future
The what could’ve beens and should’ve beens run through my head faster than a NASCAR racer
The broken promises and now lies that you have said play through my head on repeat
The house sits there pleased with itself know it’s gorgeous and everything I could ever dream of
That was supposed to be mine, ours, we were supposed to have happily ever after…What happened to forever and always…What happened to us.
