pelicans

There are only a handful of these majestic pelicans this time of year.
They are free, able to glide through the sky.
Going as far and as long as they want.
Nothing troubles them when they fly, until they land.
On land they are as troubled as any other animal.
But no matter how low they are, they can still fly.
Their need to transform into a glorious and powerful eagle
Always flying higher until they reach the freedom of the open skies.
