I'm different

I am not the girl who Wishes to be prom queen,
Or the cheer captain.
I don't go out looking for boyfriend.
I hate parties and football games.
I am not your typical teenage girl.
I'm different.
I choose to see a ballet over going to a rock
I would rather stay at home and read Shakespeare
Than go to the lock in at the movies.
People always say that I'm odd
That I don't know how to be a regular Teenager
When they say this I just look at them and say
I'm different and there's nothing wrong with that
