So the time is changing, into the Great Depression
Fights were occurring based on a person’s race
It happens in every house, no need for your confession
From their skin, to their food, to the color of their shoe lace
HA HA, the whole crowd began to giggle
They were all in their groups gossiping away
All about the others culture, not even close to a riddle
“Don’t worry,” mama told them, “There will be a better day.”
