passion burning
teasing, flirting
issue skirting
heart is hoping
head is hurting
story sharing
barely sleeping
careful caring
secret keeping
covers; cushy
lovers; pushy
memories,fantasies
heart is mushy
clever head
heart of gold
love unsaid
truth untold
laughing, fighting
darkness, light
both writing
in the dead of night

My ex and I stay up most nights talking to each other online or on the phone. He's writing a story, I'm writing an ever-expanding collection of poems. He shares parts of his story with me. I don't share my poems.
