The future is up to us
the future is how we make it
us kids hold the future so lets take it, no break it
singers or teachers whatever we will be
future lies in our hands to handle and to see
as we grow up and have kids of our own
we will sigh and look back on how much we have grown
and when choices come our way we can smile and say "sure"
because after all what we are doing is making our future.
