Now that I go to ICC high,
If I could stop dreaming for a second,
Rather than me hitting smooze again,
So that I could be the first in the shower,
Maybe next week I can be on time.

After all of Coach Harmons talk,
As my alarm went off,
Once I woke from my dreams,
While I pressed snooze again,
Rather than rolling over,
I got my butt out of bed and got to school on time.

The author's comments:
I'm always late for school, no matter. So this poem is about me not wanting to get up in the mornings and How I usually have to push myself to get out of bed.
