Fallen Behind

I've fallen
behind.
I know
this.

Maybe my
face
is coming
out
maybe my
hair
is lengthening, my
fingernails
still
growing, coated in
newly bought
pink
polish.

But I've
still
fallen behind, just
like
I'd always
suspected.
