Necessities

All I really need is
You
And a song in your mouth
A song smeared around your lips
A song springing out at me with snarling teeth protruding
And then wanting to be considered lovely
So like myself

All I really need is
You
With a melody in your throat
A melody cupped in your hands
Trembling with delight
In your gently cradling palms

All I really need is
You
Letting me sing the harmonies

I wrote this about feeling totally vulnerable and in love. Pretty typical teenage scenario.
