Many Miracles
Growing ahead and too
Above my head. Vines sway
Knotted rotting vines dangle
Blooming buds on a tree
That could cover an entire wheat field
Full of lavender and leaves
I follow a trail of pines
Not truly thinking
I notice the clouds are drifting east
In them stand shapes
And in the trunk of another tree
Is the quizzical look of an old man
Now I stop to take it all in
The light, the life, the world
Around my feet
Knowing that many dreams must have went into this creation.
