Cutting out the pain
Starving off the imperfections
Screaming out for help
Crying to God
Waiting for fixes
Those were the days of yesterdays
Finding relief in a knife
Discovering answers in a bottle
Searching for perfection in emptiness
Wishing I wasn't hurting
Regretting all my decisions
Ignoring all the right options
Those were the days of yesterdays
What will tomorrow bring?
A new hope in a new light?
Possibly the fourth quarter?
More days of yesterdays?
