to lack a muse

I think perhaps I lake a muse
And inspiration of sorts
My struggles to melodramatic to translate into art
My ecstasy to fleeting to capture
To create based on self-deprivation could lead to inappropriate pity
Crafting upon instances that never occurred would lack the heart I so desire
I seem to be surrounded by intellectuals
But I am not
I am an ordinary being, who seems to be lacking a muse
Or perhaps that is just my excuse
