I sit and listen,
To the trees who whisper, and
To the chime’s song that softens.
To the passing buzz of bees,
To the music of birds.
I sit and watch,
The dancing flowers,
And shimmering dew.
The leaves who abandon home,
And the innocent bunnies who pass.
I sit and feel,
The cool breeze whipping my hair,
The warm sun, kissing my face.
The heartfelt sensation of life, and
I sit and wonder to myself
How something that lasts forever,
Can be so beautiful.
