I sit and listen,
To the trees who whisper, and
To the chime’s song that softens.
To the passing buzz of bees,
To the music of birds.

I sit and watch,
The dancing flowers,
And shimmering dew.
The leaves who abandon home,
And the innocent bunnies who pass.

I sit and feel,
The cool breeze whipping my hair,
The warm sun, kissing my face.
The heartfelt sensation of life, and
I sit and wonder to myself
How something that lasts forever,
Can be so beautiful.

My only problem with this poem is that you say it lasts forever when it doesn't...  Which is why we must cherich these beautiful moments.  Lovely poem though.  I don't think it's possible to read it without being suddenly flooded with warmth and happiness.  Nicely done.  :)

Thanks for the comment, but I don't mean the scene itself lasting forever, I'm talking about nature itself and how its beautyl has and always will be there. I just thought I'd share what I meant in the poem, thank you for you comment. I love feedback (:

I just lived through Summer while reading your poem, thank you very much for that experience, as it is cold and rainy outside right now.

Amzingly written, absolutely beautiful whisper-poem, Lanieloo.
