When everyone was in deep sleep
Her eyes were open
So that I could sleep
When everyone ate their fistful
She kept her food aside
So that I was not hunger deprived
When everyone had one wish to make
She made no wish
So that I could make one extra
When everyone laughed at me
She did not make any comment
Because she felt the pain I had
When everyone left me alone
She did not leave
So that I could get company in my misfortunate days
