i look in the mirror
with guilt and disgrace
negative comments in my mind
on how ugly and disgusting i am
why am i made like this?
i look at all the belle models
and wonder why I'm not like them
why I'm not thin why I'm not pretty
when i look at myself
there ain't beauty
but an I'mperfect girl
that is me

The author's comments:
what inspired me to write this poem was one of my friends, because she would always continually pick things that she didn't like about herself, so from hearing her it made me think of doing a poem that had to connect to her.
