I Am Me

I’m not the girl you think I am
I’m not all the things people say about me
I don’t understand why you listen to those damn
Lies and rumors about who I might be
Maybe if you go to know the person inside
You’d see through all the bull****
You’d see the reason I hide
And pray for a second just to fit
In
But when i get home I am who I am
There’s nobody who can stop me
But I want you to know I’ll do what I can
To show you the person i can be
You might look away
But who cares the only person I am is me
