The rain used to be my favorite thing.
Until it all changed.
My world got flipped upside down.
My heart in a million pieces.

~Before~
Rain was where i'd lay and relax.
Rain was where we played.
Rain where you kissed me.
And rain was where we layed.
Rain was where my smeared make-up
Ran down my face... But you thought I was beautiful anyway.

~After~
I lay in the barren field as the rain falls on my face.
Hoping and Praying you'll come back to me.
My broken heart bleeds the same blood coming out of my wrists.
Yours.
Because you're always with me.
But it's okay, the rain washes the blood away.
Only problem is it doesn't wash away
The pain you caused me.

Even when it's not raining;
It truly is.
The rain rolls out of my eyes.

Because depression hit me like a thunderstorm in that barren field.
