The Irony of it
We all want what we know we can’t have,
Because what we have is never good enough
We want the summer,
When it’s the middle of January and you can see you breathe
We want the frigid winter,
When we’re sweating in the august heat
We want the one person we know we can’t have,
When there are so many others
We want straight hair,
When we have curly hair
We want curly hair,
When we have straight hair
We know we can’t have it, so we want it
The irony is amazing
