A Tailored Suit

He was everything I ever imagined yet completely different from what I expected
He had it all, in every way
Turning up out of the blue,
He wanted me
Then he realizes that I am not perfect, that I have flaws
This is when I realize he is not the embodiment of my dreams
But a figment of my imagination
I had put him in a tailored suit for my own benefit
Blind to the fact that it wasn’t fitted to his measurements
