Fears
How can we stop and smell the roses,
When time is slowly running out?
As the door of opportunity opens and closes,
All failures and success go in, but do not go out.
I’m just a regular citizen of the Earth,
Trying to take in what I can, before my time is gone,
But honestly, what is life worth,
When you can experience the heavens beyond the dawn?
Life is our chance to repent for the sins,
Last chance to gain pure joy from the Lord
Kiss goodbye before it’s too late for our kins,
And mend the rips in the cloth we tore.
My feel my faith is strong, but I will never know,
How strong it was before it’s too late,
Sin, the hated but embraced foe,
Will not decide my fate.
Let the storms of this life try to knock me down,
Instead of breaking, I’ll let it brush right past me,
And one day we’ll be wearing those golden crowns,
Faith is the key.
