I stand there and watch,
As you walk away.
Not caring.
Or you say you care.
But you obviously don’t.
If you cared,
You wouldn’t be walking away from me,
Would you?
I loved you.
Or did I?
The first time is hard to tell,
I guess.
You said you loved me first.
Did you really?
Or were you swept up in the moment,
As was I?
I gave you everything I had to give.
But now it is in the dust,
That your heels kick up,
As you walk away…
