Stuck
The words in my head are immovable boulders,
Stuck in the caverns of my emotions,
Dripping the dew of my sorrow.
Caught between me and us,
Trapped in the tunnels of my burrowing soul,
Which rock has the crystal lining?
Where do I go?
That light that they all see can’t be far,
But the sea must part before I ever catch a glimpse.
So I sit still between the rocks,
Wet,
Cold,
Huddled in the back of my mind.
