My Dear Hurricane
Hurricanes come hurricanes go,
but my dear hurricane i want you to know,
you come by once you come by twice,
but there's nothing i won't sacrifice.
You ruin my town, crush my heart,
I loved you then, right from the start.
But I'll fix my town, make me stronger,
and I'll hope maybe we might last longer.
My dear hurricane I've lost your love,
now you're gone making someone else tough,
but you'll be back for round three,
And I want you to know that I'll be waiting for thee.
