Flashes
When the day comes
When your life flashes before your eyes,
You should not be afraid.
You are leaving this world
And entering one
That no one can explain
Or has ever seen.
It is what happens to the ones
You loved
When you die
That matters.
Mothers, fathers,
Sons, and daughters.
They have loved you.
They will miss you.
They will worry
About where you go,
And when they will meet you
Next.
Do something useful
With your life,
So that you will not
Miss what you could have been.
So when the day comes
When your life flashes before your eyes,
Make sure it is worth watching,
Because every man dies,
But rarely does one
Truly live.
