Mermaid
She is imaginary,
But no an imaginary friend.
She is a girl,
But is no human.
Her hair is light,
Wet and long.
She likes to swim with great flight,
And her voice is a sweet song.
Her eyes, they sparkle,
Like the ocean blue.
Her teeth are sharp,
I thought you knew.
Her skin is parched,
But still so fair.
Shes never marched,
But loves the air.
Sailors meet her,
Girls want to be her.
I know this personally,
She is with me wherever I go,
My mermaid’s name is Indigo.
