I slowly pull the handle,
Until I hear that click.
I pull hard as the door swings.
And quickly move to stop it.
I slide behind the wheel,
Pulling the door shut behind me.
That final click of the closing door,
Finishes the entrance.
The keys jingle,
As they leave my pocket.
I shove them in and twist.
The engine roars,
The awakening of a beast.
Then it comes, the feeling,
Knowing no boundaries,
Rubbing me just the right way.
I feel it, the freedom.
