You can’t control fate,
everyone has to die.
Whether to love or hate,
that’s your choice to live by.
Heaven or hell
is what you choose.
And with that choice,
you win or lose.
It’s not an option,
it’s a game you must play.
And at the finish line,
there is a price to pay.
Don’t be surprised,
when you walk up to the gates,
And don’t see your name
written on the slate.
