" If people watch you, then your life must mean alot to them "

As I rest in bed at night,
I toss, turn, and roll.
I try to ease my mind but,
my mind keeps replaying
the phone call.

As I try to relax my eyes,
the only thing I seem to
see are pictures of her.
As she danced, cried, and laughed.

Her bright and bold smile,
was a contagious smile.
Her laugh was a bold laugh,
a laugh that was unforgettable.

She had endless energy,
love, hope, and life.
It all vanished away on
a dark and snowy night.

The bright stage lights have gone down,
the dark red curtains have fallen,
and her ovations are silent.

Go on Megan, take a bow.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this piece of writing in my Creative Writing class as an assignment. First thing that popped in my head was Megan, my bestfriend! She died in a car accident December 30th, 2009. She was only 19 years old. She was loved by so many and we still can't bare the pain. We manage to make it through day by day. I do everything to honor Megan. I now live for my bestfriend. She will always be in my heart and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. I love you Megan Renee Bailey. May you rest in peace and dance with the angles. [01.08.90 * 12.30.09]<3

This left me speechless. Very well said. I am very sorry about your friend.
