Often, the punishment
Of having stinky feet
Is wearing shoes,
And shoes are prison.
In prison
You may wear orange
Or stripes.
Confined inside by
Cuffs and guards,
The only options
For your feet,
Are laying down
On a hard
Lumpy bed,
Fighting with your jail mates
Out of boredom,
Or banging your toes
On the sides
Like tin cups on iron bars
And concrete floors.
