At first beneath the darkness I am put
To grow and try to set root
I try for eons, so it may seem
As I reach for the refreshing beam
Once I break into the open
Within a day myself is soaking
Each day the older I get
Set back, is the fate, I will have met
As the warmth above gives me my power
And refreshing as the day's ending shower
In the end I have but one fate
From which I can never escape
This life escape, I can not from this class
I am but a single blade of grass

"As I hide behind these books I read, while scribbling my poetry,
like art could save a wretch like me, with some ideal ideology that no one can hope to achieve.
And I am never real; it is just a sketch of me.
And everything I made is trite and cheap and a waste of paint, of tape, of time." - Bright Eyes

I really like this. Keep up the good work. :)
