I wrapped up my heart
With a box and a bow
And grudgingly
I gave it to her.
she looked at it
She said
"Meh"
And rolled over and fell asleep

I wrapped up my heart
With a box and a bow
And grudgingly
I gave it to him
He looked a bit
He said
"I love it"
And told me he'd always be there

So give my heart
To two different people
But who should I give it to?
The "loyal" friend who simply said Meh
Or the boy who will always be true?

The author's comments:
This poem is about another poem that I wrote. It was quite literally my heart on a price of paper. I showed it to my two best friends, but with the boy it kinda seems like we are more then just friends. So what I'm sayings in this poem is, who am I supposed to love more?
